To help you in remembering your dosage, take it at the same time every day as instructed by your doctor. Even if you are feeling better and thinking more clearly, keep taking this medication exactly as directed.

Side Effects

In adults and children with schizophrenia or bipolar depression, latuda (generic name: lurasidone) has a modest risk of weight gain, however, this can vary by patient. Latuda caused very little weight gain in both short-term and long-term studies done by the manufacturer. Weight gain is a typical side effect of antipsychotics in general, and it is generally dose-related.
